The Best Chicken Marinade for Grilling
Today I would love to share with you The Best Chicken Marinade for Grilling. This recipe mixes up so easily and boy does it bring a lot of flavor to the party. It is the perfect recipe to prepare if you are entertaining guests or food prepping for the week. It is easily doubled or tripled depending on the amount of chicken you plan to prepare. And since you allow it to marinate overnight you can make it the day before and grill it right before you guests arrive.
I love that it is made from simple, natural ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry. And they create such a wonderful flavor profile. The olive oil adds moisture while the balsamic vinegar and seasonings pack a ton of flavor into a simple recipe. This recipe is sure to please your next dinner guests.
I mix The Best Chicken Marinade for Grilling in a Ball mason Jar. First of all because if I can think of an excuse to use a Mason Jar I do! And second because they are so simple to clean up! And since we are using Dijon mustard it blends really well without having to involve a blender. The Dijon acts as an emulsifier for the olive oil and Balsamic Vinegar.
Since we are still in (whispering under my breath) Winter technically. This is easily prepared on a grill pan indoors. I have one similar to this one by S. Kitchen on Amazon. What is really cool is it will also work on induction cooktops! We grill year-round food prepping for our son that is still at home. However, there are still days that I do not want to brave the cold weather and I pull this pan out. It creates beautiful grill marks and seals in the juices of the chicken so nicely.
If you are curious what to serve with The Best Chicken Marinade for Grilling let me suggest my Chilled Quonia Salad. It is filled with all sorts of vegetables and dressed with a homemade vinaigrette. This is also a dish that you can prepare ahead of time if you are entertaining guests or is a great option for meal prep.
