Halloween Cookie Bars

Halloween Cookie Bars on a serving dish
Ready for your Halloween Party

I was INSPIRED by this super fun bag of Halloween M&M’s. So, I had to create this super simple Halloween Cookie Bar recipe. Didn’t they turn out so cute?!? The recipe is super simple and can be used for regular chocolate chip cookies. You can also double it and make an AMAZING Cookie Cake at HOME!

Tools

The thing to remember with this recipe is the size pan it calls for. You need a 9×13 baking sheet or cake pan. A half sheet pan is too large. And use parchment paper if you have any. It makes moving the cookie bars to a cooling rack much easier. I use it for so many different recipes now. Once you start using it you will love it!

Adding the M&M’s

The only thing to remember is when to add the M&M’s. When you make my Halloween Cookie Bars, the last thing you do before you bake them is sprinkle on the M&M’s. The idea is for them to just lay on top of the cookie dough so they don’t sink in too far. We want the fun colors to show after baking.

These would make great treats to share with your neighbors for Trick or Treating. You can take these to a Halloween Party. Or add these to a “Boo the Neighbor” gift!
