Greek Turkey Meatballs w/ Tzatziki Sauce
I’m back my friends. After a little time of rest, I wanted to share this light and delicious recipe with you. My Greek Turkey Meatballs w/ Tzatziki Sauce is a great source of lean protein and packed with fresh flavor.
I am still working on my health and fitness. Recipes like this enable me to splurge on other meals. Especially if there is a special occasion. If you are on your own fitness journey, you probably know how boring and bland “High Protein, Low Fat” can get.
Thankfully my Greek Turkey Meatballs w/ Tzatziki Sauce help in the flavor department. The tang of the yogurt and the freshness of the herbs really light up this simple dish!
Tools
Now it is not necessary to have a cookie scoop for this recipe. However, it sure makes things easier. Just like with my other meatball recipes, I like to use a cookie scoop for this one as well. Amazon has a set of three almost identical to the one I used on my video. For these meatballs I used the medium size. I find the scoops make prep faster and with less mess.
Fresh Herbs
I have encouraged you in the past to grow your own fresh herbs. So many preform well in containers. Dill in particular is easy to grow. And it will reseed itself for next year. If you choose to plant mint ALWAYS PLANT MINT IN A CONTAINER. Mint has a bad reputation for taking over gardens for a reason. Every time I go out into my garden to cut herbs, I remind myself I am saving at least $2.99.
