If you are out of chicken but have beef, use it. Here is a link for Better than Bullion. I wanted to make sure all of you are familiar with the product. it is something that I keep in my refrigerator at all times and use quite often. The dogs will love it and they can’t read. So they will never know what the recipe called for. Amazon has the cutest set of cookie cutters from Baking World that includes bones, paw prints, and a dog house. This set would make the cutest set of dog treats for your dog or for a gift set for a friend or family member.
I tried making these with the cookie cutters and by rolling them in a ball and pressing them with a fork. They both baked up beautifully. And you bake them a couple of different ways. If you want them softer for small dogs or older dogs. Bake them for 10-12 minutes and then move them to a wire rack to cool. If you want them to have a crunchy texture. After the bake time has passed. Turn off the oven and leave then in the oven overnight.
