Instructions
Prepare your cake pans by buttering the bottom and sides. Dust your pan with flour and shake out excess. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together butter and sugar with a mixer.
Add egg whites slowly, incorporating them well. Add Almond extract now as well. Mix well.
In a large bowl sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Alternate adding flour mixture and milk to butter mixture. Mixing well after each addition.
