No Chop Crockpot Mexican Chicken
A no prep recipe for Mexican inspired chicken filling great for nachos, tacos, and burritos.
Prep Time 5 minutes minutes Total Time 4 hours hours 5 minutes minutes
- 3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
- ¾ cups taco seasoning
- 1/8 cup cumin
- 16 oz package chopped peppers onions frozen
- 16 oz fresh salsa medium
Place chicken breasts in bottom of slow cooker
Spread taco seasoning evenly over chicken
Sprinkle in cumin
Top with peppers and onions. Spread salsa evenly over top.
Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3-4.
Remove chicken to a plate to shred with 2 forks. Add chicken back to slow cooker and mix with sauce.
Use seasoned chicken as a topping or filling for nachos, tacos, or burritos.
Add any toppings your family will enjoy such a more salsa, sour cream, shredded cheese, and avocado
