Ingredients
4tbspbutter
¼cupsugar
1 ½cuprhubarb
1cupstrawberries
1tsplemon juice
1cupself-rising flour
1cupsugar
1cupmilk
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Place 4 tbsp butter in 8x8 casserole dish and place in oven for 8-10 minutes while you prepare rhubarb and strawberries.
Chop rhubarb into ½ inch chunks and clean and chop strawberries.
Place fruit in a small bowl. Mix with lemon juice and ¼ cup of sugar.
Mix four, sugar and milk in medium size bowl.
Remove casserole dish from the oven. Pour batter into hot butter and pour fruit mixture into center of batter making sure to spread fruit throughout dish.
Return casserole dish to oven and reduce heat to 350 degrees.
